"Star Swirl the Bearded!" Exclaimed Twilight Sparkle as she jumped up and down in joy. Her friends that were with her, Apple Jack and Rainbow Dash, watched with astonished looks upon their faces. The old unicorn lights up the castle with a flick from his horn.
"Yes, it is I." He turns to go back to the room that he came from. "I was in the middle of a few conjuration spells when you ladies interrupted me." He turns his head to study the mares but they could only look at him with frozen stares.

Act 5 The Old Fort
It is the morning that the mares leave with the 3rd and 12th Regiments of the Royal Guard for the border up north. The 3rd Regiment, led by Brave Guard, is reinforcing Fort Lunar, a fort made in honor of Luna, which is where Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Apple Jack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy will make a stop before trekking into the Griffin Kingdoms with the 12th Regiment who was given the task to guard the mares with their lives and help them reach the capitol of Gryphus to plea for a truce between the two warring nations.
At the barracks the regiments have recovered
